Service Manager

This position will be based out of our Hanover, MD location, reporting to the Branch Manager.

A Day in the Life

Development and Management of Relationships and Service Team:

  • Communication with existing customers and grow new business
  • Responsible for all department and field staff including compensation, hiring, terminating, goal setting and performance reviews
  • Review and update the production schedule and any safety audits
  • Work closely with the Superintendent on workload, sales, and schedule 


Completion and/or Review of the Following for New Roofs or Roof Repairs:

  • Quotes and tenders for maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades
  • Roof Reports which may include photos and quotes
  • Manage workflow of invoicing and Accounts Receivables
  • Utilize our custom app to monitor workflow and process
  • Oversee financials and budgets
  • Work with team on decsions of when to add staff, trucks, and equipment 

What We Are Seeking

Here’s what you bring to the table:

  • 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a supervisory or management role construction/sales/facility management environment
  • Knowledge of the Roofing industry and construction techniques is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow the business
  • Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills
  • Strong communication, organization, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
