Coordinator, Payroll Information

As the leader in building envelope construction, Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Payroll Information Coordinator (PIC) to provide reliable, timely and professional shared services support working out of the Kansas City branch.  

A Day in the Life


  • Responsibilities for applying company policies, procedures and Union wage schedules.  Review of all HR Payroll forms for accuracy, signatures, and be the liaison with departments and branches.  
  • Entering the following employee changes into our payroll system (Avanti & Paychex)
    • New Hires, Rehires, Benefits, Personal changes, Banking information, Employee Leaves, Transfers, Terminations, Retirements, Garnishments, 
    • Act as backup for Payroll Administrator
    • Administrative duties as required
  • Operational Support to Branch/Payroll End Users
    • Assistance on issues with forms, policies, procedures, wage schedules


What We Are Seeking

A Team Player!

  • Ability to keep confidential information confidential
  • Knowledge of Avanti and Paychex would be an asset
  • Experience in a Union Payroll environment would be an asset
  • Self-starter, ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to interpret and implement Policy and Procedures
  • Ability to think proactively in problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills.
