Assembler Full-Time (Mississauga)

Job Summary

Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an experienced Panel Assembler with Brake Press experience to assist in the assembly and fabrication of custom architectural aluminum panels. The position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Metals Foreman. 


Positions are available in both our day & afternoon shifts:

  • Day: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Afternoon: Monday to Thursday (4 day work week), 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Polish metal products to mirror finish
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to Read a Tape Measure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail Oriented
  • Can stand for 8 hours a day
  • Has worked with various hand tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Can interpret drawings, calculate angles, measure and mark up material
  • Has 1 year of Manufacturing Experience (preferred)
