Service Account Manager

Job Summary

This position will be based out of our Denver, CO location, reporting to Service Manager. 

Responsibilities

Building strong and long-lasting relationships:

  • Identify potential new clients and develop relationship with key decision makers
  • Frequent communication with the new and existing customers with a twice a week expectation of client visits
  • Explain Flynn Service opporunities to clients best suited to their needs and wants
  • Regular follow-up quotes and tenders
  • Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client
  • Work with National team to build local presence and assist on local relationships with national clients
  • Work with local and National team to promote Flynn's brand and services through marketing and social media channels

 

Techinical Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs
  • Attending pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate as required
  • Review all contracts and accepted quotations with the Service Manager
  • Complete work orders in a concise and timely manner for cost effective material purchasing and scheduling
  • Ability to conduct presentations or demonstrations remotely
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge and industry leading by attending material manufacture's seminars, trade shows, etc
  • Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives

  • Excellent time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced team environment
  • Experienced in using computer programs specific to this role (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, On-Screen Take Off)
  • Blueprint reading skills and firm understanding of contract documents an asset
