Roofing Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing all contracts and accepted quotations
  • Writing up work orders
  • Preparing material order sheets
  • Assisting Production or Service with preparing prices for extras or credits
  • Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Ordering Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Agreements to Bonds, Tender deposits, WSIB Certificates, Insurance Certificates, CAD 7s, Letters of Reference, CCDC Documents
  • Prepare work orders, letters, quotes, etc.
  • Ensure change orders are properly documented and accounted for
  • Ordering materials and supplies as per job requirements, as well as ensuring proper equipment is available and arranged
  • High volume file management; ensuring files are complete, all authorizations and information is present for work completed
  • Time card collection and review
  • Maintain employee paperwork for field personnel to ensure any necessary paperwork is provided, such as applications, licenses, police checks, etc.
  • Collection and maintenance of customer contact and relevant information
  • Work closely with the Superintendents
  • Handling incoming customer calls & inquiries and dispatching crews to handle leak calls
  • Organize and schedule jobs
  • Invoicing Customers for completed work

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Pleasant and professional phone manner
  • Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Office package: Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
