Our team is growing, and we are hiring for a driven and people-focused Commercial Roofing Account Manager to join our Service Department! As the Account Manager you will build and maintain new and existing relationships, estimate and sell commercial roofing service jobs and work closely with the Service Department.

Responsibilities

  • Direct role in customer relations and sales
  • Prepare accurate, timely estimates and proposals for jobs
  • Be aware and informed of all new material or techniques in your field by attending material manufacturers seminars, trade shows, etc.
  • Create marketing material and conduct presentations/ demos for new and perspective clients
  • Develop and maintain consistent contact with customers and follow up on your estimates to confirm the outcome
  • Review all contracts and accepted quotations. Review with the department manager for final approval
  • Develop a culture of teamwork and continually seek strategies to create competitive advantages
  • Good business sense; can read markets, recognize and evaluate risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain a healthy backlog of work that allows us to retain all key employees and earn a profit
  • Enhance our reputation for integrity, quality, and professionalism

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 year degree from a recognized construction management, architectural, engineering, or business program
  • Previous experience working in a business development, sales, estimating or service manager role in the commercial roofing industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, construction software
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
  • Positive and reliable team player
